Word Play Speech Therapy is a private therapy company serving St. Charles county, the greater St. Louis area and virtually throughout Missouri.
We offer neuro-affirming, child-led, play-based therapy services for children starting at age 18 months.
Our speech-language pathologists specialize in speech sound disorders including apraxia and phonological delay, late talkers, expressive and receptive language delay, gestalt language processing, alternative/augmentative communication (AAC) and stuttering.
Our occupational therapists help children develop the skills needed for everyday success, including fine motor coordination, sensory processing, attention and independence with daily activities.
Together, our team partners with families and educators to help children build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach their full potential. We believe in the power of collaboration in order to carry over skills from therapy into a child's everyday life.

Hi, I'm Ali
I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the founder of Word Play Speech Therapy, where I focus on helping children build meaningful communication through play.
I started Word Play with a simple belief: children learn best when they feel safe, engaged and genuinely interested. Too often, therapy can feel rigid or task-driven. I wanted to create something different, a private practice where a family's needs come first and children can be authentically themselves.
