Therapy
Your child deserves to be understood. Let’s build confidence through playful, purposeful therapy where your child can be authentically themselves.
Every therapy session with Word Play is as unique as your child. Therapy is playful and purposeful so your child can make progress but enjoy the process of improving their communication and motor skills. You might notice our therapy sessions look a little different than what you'd expect. Your therapist might play on the floor, run around your backyard or climb on playground equipment at school. Why? Because children learn best through movement, play and their special interests. Your child's strengths are celebrated and used to teach new concepts.
We also love when caregivers observe and participate in therapy sessions. Our goal is for you to feel prepared to continue working with your child at home after each session. If your child’s therapy session occurs at their school or daycare, you’ll receive suggestions following each session to ensure continued support at home. Because you are the most important person in your child's life.
