Open Play: Gather & Gobble on November 10th

Gather together at Word Play Clinic for 90 minutes of sensory friendly play! At Gather & Gobble, our November Open Play, we’ll be celebrating families   and the things that bring us together. Children can use their imagination skills while they cook Thanksgiving dinner in our play kitchen, practice fine motor skills with fall themed crafts and pretend to be a football player when jumping into our crash pad! The last 10 minutes of our play includes an optional SLP led small group activity.

Our Open Play is best designed for children ages 2-7 years old. Kids of all abilities are welcome and authenticity is encouraged. We set aside one of our therapy rooms to create a calm space for those who need it because we know kids sometimes need a break from the noise.  If your child would benefit from specific sensory supports during open play, please email ali@wordplayspeechtherapy.com and we will do our best to accommodate your child’s needs.

(children 1 and under play free with a paid sibling)

• Social interaction and turn-taking
• Fine and gross motor skills
• Sensory exploration
• Imaginative and pretend play

Space is limited and advance registration is required.
